The Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE) is a non-profit professional organization founded in 1964. SBE is devoted to the advancement of all levels and types of broadcast engineering in the United States.

With more than 5,500 members and 115 local chapters, the SBE provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and information. Member broadcasters keep pace with a rapidly changing industry. The SBE also provides access to professional certification, offers educational opportunities, and speaks out on technical regulatory issues.
